About the show:
Starmites, a delightfully over the top sci-fi 80’s rock musical, uses a fantasy world to drive home sweet and poignant lessons about the awkwardness of growing up when you don’t quite fit in. Outsider, Eleanor Fairchild has built a an imaginary world around the sci-fi comic books she collects. On the same day her Mom convinces her to give up her fantasy of becoming a superhero, Eleanor instead finds herself mysteriously thrust into the world of her favorite comic book, Starmites. She lands in the middle of the battle between evil villain Shak Graa, and the Starmites, guardians of Inner Space. She and the Starmites team up on a quest to keep power out of Shak Graa’s greedy hands. Along the way they meet a colorful assortment of Bowie-esque villains including the flamboyant Diva, Queen of Inner Space and her Banshee warriors – Destiny’s Childish sirens.

Agatha Christie’s dramatization of one of her darkest and most successful mystery novels is set in a house on a remote island off the coast of Devon, England in the 1940s. The plot revolves around ten strangers who are summoned there because they have a secret past in common. Each visitor has been marked for murder and, one by one, they are killed in the order dictated by a sinister nursery rhyme about ten little soldiers. As a storm rages outside, there is no escape. Synopsis:

From Stephen Sondheim and Burt Shevelove, the writers behind A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, comes this hilarious send up of Greek comedy and satire. Based on a comedy written in 405 B.C. by Aristophanes, The Frogs playfully explores the great challenges of human existence: confronting our fears, understanding life and death, and recognizing the distractions that prevent us from achieving our goals.

The plot revolves around Dionysus, Greek god of wine and drama, who, despairing of the quality of living dramatists, travels to Hades with his slave, Xanthias, to bring playwright George Bernard Shaw back from the dead. In Hades, William Shakespeare competes with Shaw for the title of best playwright, which he wins. Dionysus chooses to bring Shakespeare back instead, thereby improving the world and its political situation.
