MVLCT is Accepting Submissions for the 2027 Season

• Do you dream of directing on the Uptown Theatre stage?

• What story do you need to tell the world right now?

We want to hear about it!

MVLCT is accepting submissions for our 2027 season (January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2027). Applications to pitch a show for the MVLCT Mainstage or for the Elliott Studio Series can be submitted by clicking here.

If you are interested in applying for the Elliott Studio Series, please take a look at these guidelines for appropriate projects.

Timeline

• Applications for both our Mainstage productions and our Elliott Studio Series are due at midnight on April 30, 2026.

• The MVLCT Season Selection subgroup will review submissions and bring recommendations to the MVLCT Board of Directors.

• The MVLCT Season Selection subgroup will invite selected submitters to give in-person pitches to the entire Board in May.

• The Board of Directors will discuss options and offer slots to the shows selected for both Mainstage and the Elliott Studio Series.

• Our goal is to have a season to announce in August.
