Lily, a spirited retiree, hires Michael, a sharp-tongued dance instructor, for lessons in her Florida condo. What starts as mutual irritation between the two slowly transforms into a touching friendship. As they move through the steps—tango, cha-cha, foxtrot—they also navigate grief, humor, and unexpected connection.
